Stacey & Joe had their first child, Thomas, in 2013 and started trying in 2014 for a sibling. But Stacey struggled with recurrent miscarriages, an ectopic pregnancy leading to removal of a fallopian tube and discovery of severe adhesions and suspected adenomyosis. They were granted one funded round of IVF which made six embryos. After three unsuccessful transfers, the couple turned to surrogacy. Their amazing surrogate had success after a third and last embryo transfer.
