Dr. Fabian Ward has an extensive career as an embryologist. Having completed his PhD in 2001 on predicting male fertility he continued his career in IVF. Fabian has been instrumental in introducing up to date vitrification freeze techniques for both eggs and embryos to IVF clinics, introducing electronic witnessing to improve laboratory safety standards and setting up IUI and Donor programmes de novo for clinics. He is focused on quality management as a way of ensuring the highest standard of patient care.
Currently, Fabian is devising a structured Surrogacy Care Model for Ireland. He is a member of the Irish Clinical Embryologist Society (ICE) and ACE ( Association of Clinical Embryologists). Fabian lives in West Cork but is originally a native of Donegal.
